  • Dancing Tots (Ages 2-3)

    Dancing Tots is a fun, 30-minute class specially designed for children ages 2 and 3. This class helps little ones develop socialization, basic motor skills, and cooperative play in a lively, supportive environment. Classes are held on Saturdays from 8:30-9:00 am. Toddlers should wear comfortable clothing and go barefoot to allow for easy movement. As the first step in our preschool dance program, this class offers a perfect introduction to dance, though this age group does not participate in the recital.

    Creative Movement (Ages 3-5)
    Saturday, 10:00-10:30am

    Monday, 5:00-5:30

    The Creative Movement class is designed to nurture our youngest dancers, providing a fun yet educational environment. Offered on Mondays from 5:00-5:30 pm or Saturdays from 10:-10:30 am, this forty-five-minute class encourages imagination, love of movement, and music. The curriculum introduces basic ballet positions and terms while developing essential motor skills. Dancers are required to wear a solid leotard, tights, and pink ballet shoes, with hair neatly up.

    Pre-Combo (Ages 5-7)

    Our Pre-Combo class is the next step in developing young dancers’ skills, building on their foundational ballet knowledge. This class focuses on enhancing ballet vocabulary, form, and technique, while introducing the basics of tap, including terms, sounds, and steps. Pre-Combo is offered on Tuesdays from 6:00-7:00 pm or Saturdays from 10:30-11:30 am.

    For those looking to expand their skills further, Pre-Combo Jazz is available on Saturdays from 11:30-12:00 pm.

    Attire: Solid leotard, tights, pink ballet shoes, and black tap shoes (buckles preferred). Hair must be worn up.

    This class is a wonderful opportunity for young dancers to continue exploring the world of dance with an increased focus on technique and creativity.

    Little Stars & Super Stars (Ages 8-11, Placement by Ability)

    Our Little Stars and Big Stars programs are designed to challenge and inspire young dancers as they continue their ballet and tap training while introducing new dance styles, including jazz and lyrical. These fun and engaging ninety-minute classes offer a well-rounded dance education, helping students develop their skills and versatility.

    • Little Stars: Tuesday from 5:00-7:00 pm
    • Big Stars: Mondays from 5:30–7:30 pm

    Attire: Solid leotard, tights, pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes (buckles preferred), jazz shoes, and lyrical shoes. Hair should be worn up.

    This program offers a comprehensive and enjoyable experience for aspiring dancers looking to broaden their skills in multiple dance forms.

    Mini Program (Ages 11 and Up – Placement by Ability)

    Our Mini program is designed for dancers aged 11 and up (placement is based on ability) and is conveniently scheduled on Mondays from 5:30-8:00 pm. This two-hour class offers a comprehensive curriculum that allows dancers to advance their skills in ballet, jazz, lyrical, and tap, while continuing to develop discipline, poise, dedication, and respect.

    Attire: Solid leotard, tights, pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes, and jazz/lyrical shoes. Hair must be worn up.

    This program is an exciting opportunity for dancers to grow both technically and artistically, all in a fun and engaging environment.

    Junior & Senior Levels Dance Program

    Our Junior and Senior programs are designed to take dancers to the next level of their dance education with advanced curriculum and challenging choreography. These classes emphasize the importance of maintaining proper technique in ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, and hip hop while pushing dancers to demonstrate all they have learned. This program prepares students for future dance opportunities, whether they continue at our school or move on to other pursuits.

    Schedule:

    • Ballet: Saturday, 10:00-11:00 pm and Wednesday, 5:00-6:15 pm
    • Junior Jazz: Wednesday, 8:00-8:30 pm
    • Junior Lyrical: Wednesday, 7:30-8:00 pm
    • Junior Tap: Wednesday, 7:00-7:30 pm
    • Junior Hip Hop: Wednesday, 6:30-7:00 pm
    • Senior Jazz: Wednesday, 7:30-8:00 pm
    • Senior Lyrical: Wednesday, 8:00-8:30 pm
    • Senior Tap: Wednesday, 6:30-7:00 pm
    • Senior Hip Hop: Wednesday7:00-7:30 pm

    Attire: Black leotard, pink tights, and hair in a bun. Please check with your teacher for specific shoe color and style requirements.

    Additionally, students at this level are encouraged to audition for our prestigious Pointe Program.

    Pointe Program:

    • Pre-Pointe: Saturday, 9:30-10:00 am (By Audition only – Ballet Required)
    • Pointe 1: Saturday, 11:00-11:45 am (By Audition only – Ballet Required)

    Pointe Attire: Black leotard, pink tights, and hair in a bun. Pointe students must be enrolled in a Ballet class at SPA, and placement is determined by the instructor.

    This program is ideal for dedicated dancers looking to advance their skills and explore the beauty of dancing en pointe.

    Musical Theater:

    Saturday, 9:00-9:30 (Ages 10 & up)

    Monday, 8:00-8:30

    Step into the spotlight in this high-energy musical theatre class for ages 10 and up! Students will have a blast learning fun dance routines, perfecting facial expressions, and mastering the art of lip-syncing to their favorite songs. Each class builds confidence, stage presence, and performance skills in a supportive, upbeat environment. Get ready to shine and steal the show—Broadway style! 🎭✨

    Acro 1:

    Tuesday, 5:15-6:00 (Ages 5-7)

    This level introduces our youngest dancers to the foundations of acrobatics in a fun and safe environment. Students will work on building strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Skills include forward and backward rolls, bridges, handstands, cartwheels, and basic limbering. Dancers will also begin learning how to connect simple tricks smoothly with music.
    Goals:
    Develop body awareness and safe acro technique
    Build strength and flexibility for future skills
    Learn foundational tricks like cartwheels and bridges
    Explore connecting acro movement with dance rhythms

    Acro 2:

    Tuesday, 7:00-7:45 (Ages 7 & up)

    In this level, students continue to strengthen their acro foundation while adding more challenging skills. Focus will be on clean technique, proper progressions, and linking tricks fluidly into dance combinations. Students may work on skills such as one-handed cartwheels, walkovers, balances, and partner work.
    Goals:
    Improve control, balance, and flexibility
    Learn walkovers, handstand variations, and balances
    Begin connecting multiple tricks into sequences
    Apply acro skills to enhance performance quality in dance

    Open Acro:

    Wednesday, 4:15-5:00 (Ages 10 & up)

    This class is designed for older students ready to advance their acro abilities and apply them in dance and performance. Skills may include aerials, back handsprings, advanced walkovers, chest stands, and combination passes. A strong emphasis will be placed on executing tricks smoothly with musicality, creating seamless transitions from acro into dance choreography.
    Goals:
    Master advanced acro tricks and combinations
    Build strength and endurance for tumbling passes
    Apply acro technique to choreography and performance
    Develop fluidity, confidence, and rhythm while performing tricks to music

    Hip Hop:

    Tuesday, 4:30-5:00 (Ages 7 & up)
